Small Town Heroes is a spin-off of VRT-medialab, the research and development department for the Flemish media industry .
We are passionate about the web and television. We know enough about both to make them work together.

Hendrik Dacquin
Hendrik has been researching interactive television for over 10 years. First at Alcatel-Lucent and later at the VRT-medialab. He is passionate about user interfaces, design, usability and beers from the Ardennes.
Jeroen Van Aert
Jeroen has been working for over ten years with interactive television for both VRT and VRT-medialab. He developed red button applications for De CanvasCrack, Steracteur Sterartiest and many more. Currently Jeroen is focused on Broadcaster tools for TV studios.
Ilja Strobbe
Ilja has been with VRT-medialab since 2009. He was responsible for the backend development and scaling of projects such as Villa Vanthilt and Ook Getest op mensen. He likes to work at night.
Andries De Reyghere
Andries is a great project manager and all-round business developer. He loves information design and has a gaming background. Andries is also Masterchief at Bits of Love, an agency focused on interactive applications.
